As the editor of such a fine publication read by such fine people, I search high and low for fine stories that will benefit the fine palates of such fine readers. Such stories are especially prized when they speak to current situations.
What a surprise it was to myself when I realized that one such story was a simple narrative from my own experiences from years of yore.
Without much further ado, the story will soon find its place on the page below.
A PARABLE
As a child,
I had a neighbor whose name was Truman. I called him Tru for short.
He was a wasp.
Tru was not very nice. He often stung me.
We grew up and went our separate ways.
Years later I met a winged insect who claimed to be my old neighbor Tru.
I wasn't sure if it was him.
This insect was too nice. He didn't once sting me during our conversation.
Finally, he confessed that he wasn't my old neighbor and wasn't even a wasp.
He was actually a honey bee.

Moral: If it sounds too good to be Tru, it must bee.
